For my first water color piece, titled: war is not the answer, Inspired by the song "whats going on by Marvin Gaye". I chose to paint Marvin Gaye a soul singer-songwriter in the 1960s and 1970s. I’m happy with the turn out although I would like to bring out more of the shadows and practice color values in the future.
